Flowers are an awesome way to spruce up your interior space. They’ve been a large part of interior design for numerous centuries. Because there are so many different shapes, colors and sizes of flowers, there are endless possibilities for your home!
They perform well with many different elements. On print, they look amazing! On accents, they look just as good! When you’re adding flowers inside of your home, be careful about going too retro. You want to avoid looks that make your home look like “Grandma’s house”.
Windows come in a variety of shapes and sizes, often times it is difficult to find the right treatment for your open window. Among these difficult shapes to treat are arch windows. Arch windows are inherently unique and present multiple challenges.
Typically, arch windows are flat on the bottom and have a nice round top. While their uniqueness presents a challenge, when they are treated correctly they add an extra dash of elegance to any room. There are a ton of different options you have when it comes to treating your arch windows, so today we wanted to explain their differences.
Happy Halloween! In the spirit of All Hallow’s Eve, here are some festive and fun ways to get your windows looking their most terrifying:
1. Cute Cutouts
Who doesn’t love a good DIY? A great hands-on way to add some cute yet creepy Halloween goodness to your windows is by making your own thematic cutouts! All you need is construction paper, computer paper (for printing desired image, if you aren’t doing it freehand), a pencil, scissors, and then maybe tape/adhesive, string, hole punch, etc.
It’s always fun to look back through the years and note how things have changed. We chuckle at now outrageous hair and clothing styles; we wonder how we possibly survived without modern amenities like a GPS in your phone, or without a phone at all! This fast and vast rate of change carries over to home improvement as well. Read on to see what we think the future holds for insulating cell shades.
1. Online Shopping – Top Seller for Cellular
Studies show that online sales increase by 11% each year. Now, more than ever, online shopping is easier, quicker, and more hassle-free, making it in many ways preferable to buying in-store. This is promising for the cellular window shade industry, and especially for us, since we are entirely web-based. When you shop online, you can order samples, find all the information you need for measuring and installation, and best of all, your order is shipped right to you.
Online orders usually mean you can install the shades yourself, which translates to savings since you don’t have to work with a designer or installer. Ease of access, ease of assembly and usage, and reduced fees are what will make the internet the primary platform for cellular shade shopping.
A lot of times when we talk to our customers online, they refer to our window shades as “blinds.” Sometimes they even ask if there’s a difference between the two. While we understand what they mean, shades and blinds are very different; both have their own unique characteristics!
We’re back and better then ever. On October 3rd 2014, we launched a new website designed to help connect with customers online looking for energy efficient insulating cellular shades! For our previous customers, please don’t worry! We still have the same shades, just a different look.
